My own personal project. I wanted to create a fully CG scene that depicted the atmosphere of a tiny one room apartment, inspired by the "cage homes" of Hong Kong. Despite the theme of poverty and desperation, I wanted the nighttime ambience to feel like a safe, comforting personal haven for the implied dweller off-screen.
This project required a significant amount of custom assets. Using references from the internet and some of my favourite Youtubers I crafted a decent amount of them. To not make them go to waste after the art project was done, I put most of them up for sale on 3D marketplaces.
